Dwelling Policy
Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Company provides insurance for dwellings,
contents and private structures used solely for residential purposes. The
dwelling program provides coverage for owner and rental property, and
builders risk policies.
The dwelling program does not offer liability or theft coverage.
The dwelling program offers three coverage options based on our
underwriting guidelines: basic, broad or special perils.
The basic policy covers eight perils (fire or lightning, windstorm or
hail, explosion, riot or civil commotion, aircraft, vehicles, smoke, and
vandalism or malicious mischief).
The broad policy covers seventeen perils (fire or lightning, windstorm or
hail, explosion, riot or civil commotion, aircraft, vehicles, smoke, and
vandalism or malicious mischief, breakage of glass or safety glazing
materials, burglars, falling objects, weight of ice, snow or sleet,
collapse, accidental discharge or overflow of water or steam, sudden and
accidental tearing apart, cracking, burning or bulging, freezing, sudden and
accidental damage from artificially generated electric current).
The special policy covers all risk of physical loss except those excluded
within the policy.
